Helping Hands Team:
Alison Bradley arrived in Vietnam soon after graduating from New York University in May 2004 and immediately fell in love with the country. While living in Saigon she taught English and wrote for The Guide. Alison has traveled to more than 25 countries on four continents, and lived in the United States, Great Britain, Italy, South Africa, Vietnam and Israel. She currently lives in New York City and works in media relations. Michael Sieburg, a 2002 graduate of the George Washington University, has periodically studied and worked in Vietnam since 2001. Most recently he was employed with the World Bank spearheaded initiative, Business Edge, before he returned to the U.S. in the summer of 2006. He currently lives in New York City and works in International Development. Ashley Scribner and Kacey Nobis are two art teachers who joined the Helping Hands Vietnam project in early 2007. Later that summer they visited the group home in Danang and volunteered their day teaching art classes to the children. In the fall of 2007, Ashley moved to New York where she teaches private art lessons. Kacey is an elementary art teacher in Cincinnati, OH. We would like to thank the following organizations and individuals for their assistance with this project:
